Elected member training
On the 11th and 12th September 2007, SEFIP in partnership with the Imoprovement and Development Agency (external link) ran a team building session for Members of the Regional Management Board. For more information see the event overview (pdf, 218kb). We will use the outcomes of the day as part of the development of the next bsuiness plan for 2008/11.
Learning Pool
The South East Centre of Excellence (SECE), on behalf of the South East Improvement and Efficiency Partnership (SEIEP), has purchased a 2 year licence for 'Modern Councillor'. This e-learning solution is designed to give Members easy access to a suite of guidance on policy and structures of local government. The flyer (pdf, 218kb) outlines what the product is and describes how Learning Pool will engage with each sub-regional partnership to roll out this programme.
