Improvement & Efficiency South East
Improvement & Efficiency South East (IESE) was formed by bringing together the county-based improvement partnerships with the regional partnerships operated by the South East Centre of Excellence under one umbrella organisation. Each partnership is represented on IESE by a Lead Member, in the case of fire by the Chairman of the Improvement work area.
IESE is responsible for the allocation of capacity building funding to partnerships. It also ensures delivery against the regional improvement & efficiency strategy and reports progress to the Local Government Association and the government. To find out more about IESE, visit their website.
Fire & rescue is an active player in this partnership and has successfully bid for further funding from the capacity building fund for 2008/11.
