The South East Fire Improvement Partnership
The work of SEFIP is split into key areas. Firstly, we support the key business areas of procurement, training and human resource management with improvement & efficiency funding and other support, such as conducting research. We also provide ways which encourage collaboration on key issues, such as liaison with key stakeholders, lobbying and sharing information.
As part of our own 'improvement' work area, we support elected member and officer development through the provision of training, and support for attendance at seminars.
We also run the peer review brokering service for all fire and rescue services in the region.
We also publicise the successes of the improvement partnership and raise our profile with key colleagues at local, regional and national levels. We do this through ourmedia & communications work area.
SEFIP is a member of Improvement & Efficiency South East (IESE).
